Ginjer AI in a nutshell

Ginjer.ai turns fragmented advertising data into actionable market intelligence.

We are building a competitive intelligence & insights platform for marketing teams. We analyse paid media dynamics across social platforms (Meta, TikTok, etc.) to provide a real time quantitative vision of the market media strategies, and generate media planning recommendations.

We already serve multiple paying clients across various industries, and are in process of closing our seed round to help us scale. We are now hiring an A-team in Marseille that will consolidate the foundations to enable the scale.

The role

We are looking for a Lead Full-Stack Engineer on a CTO track. You will join as one of the first engineering hires, working directly with our co-founder & current tech lead Charles, and own our product architecture end-to-end — from the data model to the dashboards, API and MCP interfaces our customers use every day.

Stack

We try to stay simple & pragmatic:

  • Infra — Everything runs on Google Cloud: Cloud SQL (Postgres), BigQuery, Cloud Run (services & jobs), Vertex AI. All workloads are containerized. Terraform is on the roadmap.
  • Backend — Python 3.11+, FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy. Typed end-to-end, no ORM magic. Alembic for migrations, Postgres for storage, Cloud Run for compute.
  • Frontend — Vue 3 + TypeScript + Vite. Nuxt UI for components, ECharts for visualization. Playwright for E2E.
  • Data & Analytics — dbt for transforms & data tests, BigQuery as the datawarehouse & Omni Analytics for analytics & visualization.
  • DevX — Claude Code is central to how we ship code. Custom agents, skills, and internal tooling to stay fast.

What you'll work on

  • Own the product architecture end-to-end: data model, backend services, frontend application, and the API / MCP interfaces external clients use.
  • Ship customer-facing features: analytics dashboards, ad search, natural-language query, and the workflows that turn raw competitive data into decisions.
  • Set the bar for engineering quality: CI/CD, automated testing, observability, performance, and security.
  • As the team grows, lead the product engineering function: hiring, onboarding, reviews, and engineering culture.
  • Partner with the founders and Customer Success to translate product vision and customer input into a pragmatic delivery roadmap.

Who you are

  • 5+ years shipping production software end-to-end, with significant full-stack ownership.
  • Strong backend skills in Python (FastAPI, Pydantic, asyncio, type hints) and relational data modelling (Postgres).
  • Strong frontend skills with a modern framework (Vue, React or similar) + TypeScript, and an eye for clean, data-dense product UI.
  • Comfortable with cloud infra and DevOps (containers, CI/CD, monitoring); GCP a plus.
  • Experience leading delivery: you've shipped non-trivial systems and led at least a small team or a meaningful workstream. You're excited to grow people, not just ship code.
  • Track record of delivering to external clients and communicating clearly with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluent in French or English.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Google Cloud (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, BigQuery).
  • Exposure to advertising & marketing data.
  • Experience building API / MCP-based interfaces.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary.
  • Meaningful BSPCE package: you will be joining as a key technical hire and will be treated as such.
  • Clear path from Lead Full-Stack Engineer to broader engineering leadership (CTO track).
  • Marseille office, hybrid setup, real autonomy.
  • Leadership focused on empowering people, fostering collaboration, excellence, authenticity, and diversity.
  • Work with cutting-edge AI & tech solutions, on data nobody else has.

Process

  • Intro call with our CTO & co-founder Charles.
  • Technical deep-dive on architecture and past projects.
  • Pair-coding or system design exercise.
  • Founders' interview: vision, leadership, expectations on both sides.
  • Reference check, offer.
