This policy explains what personal data Ginjer.ai collects, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have under the GDPR.

1. Who we are

Ginjer ("Ginjer", "we", "us") operates the ad-intelligence platform available at ginjer.ai. We are based in Marseille, France, and act as the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Full legal identification (registered entity, RCS number and registered address) is available on request.

2. What data we collect

Information you give us — your name, work email, company and any message content when you contact us, request a demo or apply for a role.
Usage data — pages visited, approximate location derived from your IP, device and browser information, collected to operate and improve the site.
Advertising data — our platform analyses publicly available advertising (for example public ad libraries from Meta and TikTok). This is business and creative data about brands and campaigns, not data we use to profile individual visitors of this site.

3. How we use your data

To respond to your enquiries and provide the demo or service you requested.
To manage recruitment when you apply for a role.
To operate, secure and improve our website and product.
To send you service or marketing communications where you have agreed to receive them.

4. Legal bases

We process personal data on the basis of your consent, the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request, our legitimate interest in running and improving our business, and compliance with our legal obligations.

5. Sharing and transfers

We share data only with service providers who help us operate (for example hosting, analytics and email), under contracts that require them to protect it. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes above, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Recruitment data is retained for the duration of the process and a reasonable period afterwards unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your personal data, to object to certain processing and to withdraw consent at any time.
